It’s about the Caravan card minigame. Josh Sawyer offers some advice on how to play your cards correctly
Director Josh Sawyer of Fallout New Vegas has shared some helpful advice for those still struggling with the RPG’s card-based minigame Caravan. Caravan allows you to take a break from exploring the wasteland in Fallout New Vegas and earn some extra bottle caps. In it, each player has three piles of cards that represent caravans, and the goal is to have each of your piles total between 21 and 26 and be worth more than your opponents’ piles.
It may appear simple, but winning requires a well-thought-out strategy. Furthermore, completing all of the achievements in Fallout: New Vegas necessitates winning the minigame at least 30 times. Recently, a player who had completed all of the other achievements except the Caravan-related ones contacted Sawyer for advice.

So I’m trying to get all the achievements in New Vegas but two of the achievements I need are the caravan achievements.
Can you give me any advice […]?
Happy Thanksgiving this is the one F:NV question I'll answer this seasonhttps://t.co/FmK5LY82Gt
The “most important” cards to have in your deck, according to Sawyer, are 10s, 8s, and 6s. “Kings and Jacks are also valuable: Kings to double (or triple, or quadruple) the value of a card (or your opponent’s), Jacks to remove a card,” he says.
Queens and Jokers, according to Sawyer, “have their place but are more situational and usually the AI doesn’t demand their use ” For those in need of additional assistance, the Fallout: New Vegas director recommends this GameFAQs guide, which he describes as “probably the best guide I’ve seen.”
That’s certainly useful if you want to excel at Caravan, but if you’re interested in anything else related to Fallout: New Vegas, such as the possibility of a sequel, you’re out of luck. This card question, according to Sawyer, is “the one F: NV question I’ll answer this season.”
