The spooky film has become Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film to date
The box office success of Five Nights at Freddy’s continues. After another weekend in theaters, it has earned $136 million (R2,535,237,200.00) in the United States and $147 (R2,738,587,950.00) million in international markets for a total of $283 million (R5,272,247,550.00). As a result, it is Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film of all time.
The previous record-holder was Split, which earned $278.5 million (R 5,188,413,225.00) worldwide in 2016. Get Out and Halloween, both of which grossed more than $250 million (R 4,658,835,000.00) at the global box office, are among Blumhouse’s other recent big hits.
Blumhouse founder Jason Blum thanked director Emma Tammi, series creator Scott Cawthon, the cast and crew, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and distributor Universal Pictures for their contributions to the film’s success.
The FNAF film debuted in late October and quickly became Blumhouse’s biggest opening weekend ever, so it’s no surprise that it has now become Blumhouse’s biggest movie ever. It is also the highest-grossing horror film of 2023. Despite its day-and-date release on Peacock, the FNAF film achieved these incredible box office numbers.
Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) and Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo) star in the film. Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is hard at work on the creepy animatronics.
