The Division: Heartland became accidentally listed on the Ubisoft shop, revealing new information about the game

Recently, a store page for The Division: Heartland, the upcoming free-to-play looter-shooter spin-off from The Division, appeared on the Ubisoft Store. This page provided additional information regarding the game’s location and multiplayer options. The store page was later removed. But not before a few sharp-eyed Twitter users found it.

Said users took a few screenshots revealing some details of the new game which they said was “coming soon”.

The description read:

“Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland is a free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter set in small-town Middle America.”

They revealed that there will be two game modes. The first of which is “Storm Operations” where you will fight in 45-players PvEvP matches. Here, you’ll have to fight against a bunch of rogue agents known as Vultures. This isn’t the only danger you must avoid because you also need to avoid a deadly virus.

Excursion Operations, the second game mode, requires you to work together to execute PvE tasks, collect equipment, activate alerts, and prepare the battlefield.

The store page also disclosed that you can choose from three different classes. Each of these offers a special set of abilities and benefits, and you can play as one of six agents. Information about The Division Heartland was previously released. A 20-minute portion of the game that debuted online in May was quickly taken down by Ubisoft.

It has been some time since any news on The Division: Heartland has surfaced since its original announcement back in 2021. The only other major news we knew is that it was being made by Red Storm Entertainment. Not the Division and The Division 2’s massive entertainment.

The strange thing is that on the now-gone store page they listed the developer as Ubisoft Montreal. So it is entirely possible that the game has once again changed hands. Only time will tell if this is true along with any other speculation we might have about the game’s details.

Some may say this is a coincidence or a slip by someone at Ubisoft but in our opinion, they planned this slip to hype the game up before its eventual official announcement. There are bound to be details released soon. These should include release dates gameplay and which platforms the game will be playable on so stay tuned.
