Calling it a “Shameless Cash Grab”

The Walking Dead is currently one of the most popular media properties, with content available in comic books, television, video games, and other formats. As a result, the franchise has a large fanbase that enjoys delving into the stories that surround the original comic books.

However, with so much coming out, it won’t all be good. The Walking Dead: Destinies, the most recent video game, has enraged fans, who describe it as “a true, blatant, embarrassing, and shameless cash grab.” And it’s not just one Reddit user saying it. The Walking Dead: Destinies developer GameMill, according to fans on social media, fell short of expectations.

“Anyone know why we keep getting these crappy games like Destinies, but no follow-up (doesn’t have to be Clem) to the Telltale style of games?” one commenter wondered. “This game looks like it was made [on] an incredibly low budget…[with] god awful graphics, rushed storyline, and terrible gameplay.” said another. However, it’s not just people who are dissatisfied with the game’s graphics and storyline; many fans are also pointing out that Destinies is a little broken.
