The two companies are hosting not one but two games showcases this month.
The first event will be on the 12th of June and what they couldn’t fit into that will go into the showcase on the 14th of June.
More trailers, developer discussions, and in-depth views of some of the titles featured in the main Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will be included during the second event.
The presentation, which will take place on the 12th of June will feature information on titles from Xbox Game Studios and several of Microsoft’s partners. The showcase promises to have news on “everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem.”
The main event will be broadcast on YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok in 30 languages, which includes American Sign Language.
The second showcase will be held on the 14th of June at 1 PM ET. The event will run for about 90 minutes and will be broadcast in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, French, and German with live audio descriptions and American Sign Language. The channels that will host this event will be YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook.
Forza Horizon 5, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and various third-party titles were all included in last year’s Xbox Games Showcase Extended. We also learned that Xbox Design Lab will be returning to allow players to customize their controllers.
The showcase will be streamed in 1080p at 60 frames per second, according to Xbox. After then, a 4K version will be available on YouTube.
The showcases are bound to have many announcements of new and unreleased games as well as games that have previously not had set release dates.
Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield and Arkane Studios’ Redfall, both of which were recently delayed until the first half of 2023, are among Xbox and Bethesda’s future games.
Many announced but unreleased Xbox Game Studios titles, such as Obsidian Entertainment’s Avowed, Rare’s Everwild, Avalanche Studios’ Contraband, Playground Games’ Fable, The Initiative’s Perfect Dark, Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Undead Labs’ State of Decay 3, and Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds 2, could also make an appearance.
The big gaming companies always release their respective game news around this time of year, and with Sony just recently showcasing their new game news at their State of Play event this past weekend, it’s no surprise that Xbox is due to follow suit.
Stay tuned for updates on the event, and if you happen to miss it in person, we’ll make sure you’re up to date.
