Xbox Game Pass will be lowering its costs for South African customers, which is great news for those who wish to subscribe.
Xbox Game Pass has long been the most popular of the subscription services with dozens of new games being released on the service monthly for users to get their hands on.
It was recently announced that South African Xbox Game Pass users will receive a discount on the service, which will apply to both console and PC Xbox Game Pass customers, which is fantastic news regardless of where you play.

The new pricing is listed below:
- Xbox Game Pass (Consoles) – R79 (was R99)
- Xbox Game Pass (PC) – R79 (was R99)
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – R119 (was R149)
These prices were already leaked on the 2nd of February and the post was taken down since then but now that it has been confirmed that could mean that rumoured tiered prices may have credibility too.
the post did quote Xbox South Africa stating: “We regularly evaluate the price of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold at a local level to best serve customers in each country. These price adjustments were informed and based on local market conditions in each country.”
