Gameplay & Controls:
The game makes use of the keyboard and mouse for gameplay; however, the mouse is your primary user here, with buttons on the screen to open up or select the various options that the game has to offer.
The keyboard layout has numerous shortcuts to make use of that makes gameplay fun and more manageable, especially as you start building up party members.
The Kingdom of Ehb is in peril and it is up to you to save it; you start as a lowly farmer ploughing your fields when war and chaos breaks out. From there on you get your first quest and you set out on your adventure.
The game world is not level based but rather divided up into sections that load up as you progress forward. As you continue on through the game you will encounter enemies, wild life and a whole bunch of other critters that will try and kill you, killing them grants you XP for the weapon type you use. You can be a Ranged fighter, a Melee warrior or a master of sorceries, the choice is yours, or be them all if you so choose, another neat feature that Dungeon Siege offers, is a party system where you can recruit and employ companions that venture out and join you in your quest to rid this world of its evil. So, you get to set up and customize your party to your exact liking, making it easier to set up a team that can handle any encounter.
Graphics:
The game is beautifully created, filled with tons of detail, delivering a very visually appealing setting. Character detail shared the same quality level, each character has their own appearance making your party come across as more vibrant.
The wide variety of weapons and gear that you can buy or loot as you go about exploring, all have their own unique appearance as well, which is clearly visible once equipped on one of your characters.
Monsters, enemies and all the critters we run into during our adventure have received the exact same treatment, further making our gaming experience a visual master piece.
Under the hood there a several settings that can be customized for our PC’s.
Sounds:
Remarkably well done, the background music and in game sounds add a very soothing atmosphere to the game that enhances and livens our experience.
Each area you explore or find yourself in has its own visual appearance, dark, mysterious or the open green forest, they are all accompanied by their own unique sounds to give life and beauty to these scenes. Character voice overs were done quite beautifully adding to the settings that the game offers.
Replayability:
The game will keep you busy for days without end as you either go about completing all the extras that the game has to offer, such as scavenging for the best loot or grinding out XP levels.
Last but not least the game offers multiplayer so that you and some friends can take on the enemies of Ehb together.

When it comes down to the numbers Dungeon Siege is impressively done, it offers a marvelous story line filled with magic, lore and everything else that a Fantasy RPG needs. The game world is full of enemies, that you can take on by yourself, or with friends.
Even if you do not make use of the online system you can recruit numerous party members to go about adventuring with you, each of these members can be geared and set up to take on specific roles for your play strategy giving you total control on the battlefield.
The levelling system is new and well thought out giving us something unique to work with as we play the game, all in all a wonderful game.
