Take your settlements to a whole new level with another creative DLC…
Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game
Some key points that this game add on has to offer:
- Numerous new items that can be built.
- Cages
- Trophies
- Arena
- New Achievements/ Trophies.
Replayability:
Fallout 4 – Wasteland Workshop adds onto the base game itself by enhancing your settlements building and management possibilities.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Fallout 4 – Wasteland Workshop might seem smaller than the previous DLC and to be frank, if you aren’t a big fan of the settlement, then just like the first DLC this may be a turn off for you.
However, taking a closer look at this DLC, one will easily see that it brings several new to dos to your settlement gameplay. For starters, a lot of new recipes have been added to the game, some brand new and others just more options in the categories; Fusion Generator, Garden Plot’s, Traps and so much more is waiting for you. A new Shipment type; Shipment of concrete has been added to the game and along with it, several concrete based structures can now be built.
Some of the more popular add ons would be the Trophies, the ability to craft trophies of almost everything that you kill in Fallout 4 and then hang them in your buildings as decorations. Cages is another new add on. Cages for almost every creature type are available. Build the cage and then wait to trap a raider, super mutant or even a Deathclaw in it… This opens up several new options such as tame creatures which adds happiness to your settlement, or added defense.
Last but not least, Arena’s, build arena’s and host fights against your own settlers or captured creature’s vs your settlement. There are a wide range of options available to you here.
If the settlement mechanics have been kind to you this DLC will make it so much more memorable for you, if it hasn’t this might be the one that starts making it more fun for you…., or not.
