Are you looking for a fun puzzle game that offers a great Atmospheric adventure? Then dear reader you have come to the right place.
Some key features this game has to offer.
- Mystery, not because it is secretive, but there simply isn’t information lying around to obtain, this does not affect the game in any way whatsoever though.
- A massive steam driven boat on wheels for you to use.
- Simplistic, it doesn’t require a monster to run, and in fact most basic machines with simple on board graphics will be able to run it.
- Puzzles that aren’t too complicated but offer a fun aspect to the game.
- Certain elements in the background that come to life, such as the weather where you endure a storm that damages your vessel.
- Stops at certain key points where your vessels receive upgrades to make your journey easier as you go.
- The game has a repair system, so as you play things gets damaged and you have to fix them, or put the fires out that have started etc.

Gameplay & Controls:
Let us start with the gameplay.
The control system for the game is very simple, you use the arrow keys to move left and right, or the WASD keys which we prefer most of the time, The Space bar is there to jump and then you use the Mouse Left click to accept or confirm actions.
The V/E or Enter buttons can be used to pick or take an object and then lastly with X and C we can zoom in and out to get a better look at the game. FAR Lone Sails offer full controller support as well, so we have that option to choose should we wish.

Graphics:
The one part most of you love above all else…and in this game it does not disappoint, The game has a very neatly and detailed view, great care was taken to put it together and a lot of attention to detail was invested in this game making the graphics one of the best features this game has. The game does offer an option menu where the graphics quality and resolution can be adjusted to every user’s desire.
The games graphics itself comes in the form of the static background and landscaping, the developers went into great detail to make it as suited as it can get to fit in with the rest of the game, As I mentioned , most of the graphics are static and to avoid spoilers I will not mention them.

Sounds:
Again, in the option menu you have a volume control to set the volume to whatever level you want so we have that to work with, but the music and sounds they added to this game come together beautifully with the game making the journey so much more tranquil and enjoyable…

Replayability:
As I mentioned this game lacks content and is quite short, don’t get me wrong you will enjoy every second of this game, it really is a beautiful piece of art and it is worth your time.
The game itself just doesn’t have that “replayability” that we have come to enjoy about games. You have the means to level select after you have finished all the scenes, so to gather up left over achievements you can simply load up those levels and then go from there.

There are however a few achievements that require more than just a scene select, but besides that there is no reason to want to play the game again. There is a static ending, no multiple endings or choices.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Spoilers Ahead:
This is a game that you want and that you want to play and enjoy, it is a post-apocalyptic world that you are left in…all alone in your bucket on wheels traveling the vast empty sea beds in search of…well the game never tells us so that’s a hint of mystery.
As we travel east, we have to overcome puzzles to proceed on our journey, making upgrades and repairs to our vessel to keep on keeping on. Although it is a short journey it is an enjoyable and breathtakingly beautiful one, the landscape coming together beautifully as you travel the world, giving you a reality check of what the world will be like when there is nothing left. As you play the game it does play you, giving you an up close and personal look at what the world can be like.
![Travel](https://mgrgaming.com/wp-content/uploads/Travel.jpg)
Every time you start the game your character wakes up, to elaborate in the top right corner of your vessels, your character has a bed, so when you break from the game your character goes to sleep. In the scenes where you do die, the game loads up a previous save point and again you wake up from your bed.
… So, we sail on dry land, withstanding heavy rains, the occasional hail storm and then outrunning a tornado, so the game does offer that extra factor where you need to pay attention, and have some quick thinking of what needs doing.
Your goal is to get to wherever east gets you so you interact with massive gates, solving puzzles to get them open so that your vessel can get past. Certain stops don’t just require you to solve a puzzle to open a door but rather an upgrade to your vessel, such as sails, or the repair welder, or the item vacuum that sucks up items for you , sparing you quite the bit of time having to stop and pick those items up one at a time by yourself.

Another neat add on to the game is that we get to experience from Dusk till Dawn as the time passes, and night traveling so you get to see how these day and night cycle changes adding some extra beauty to the whole thing, and last but not least, the seasons are present in here from the rainy season all the way to a snow white winter.
