MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Episode Gladiolus might not be a big DLC, but it still packs a punch and fills a gap in the story. The low-price tag more than makes it worth it.
After Gladiolus lost to Ravus, more than his ego was bruised. He realized that his strength is not nearly enough to protect the King. He decided that to truly be a Shield worthy of protecting the King, he must find a way to increase his power level.
He contacts an old friend and sets out towards Ancient ruins where the Ultimate warrior awaits!
This DLC takes place shortly after Gladiolus leaves Noctis during the main campaign. With this DLC comes combat and play style mechanics especially suited to Gladiolus’s playstyle. You will explore these ruins running into a variety of enemies, from foot soldiers to formidable bosses that will test your mettle. All of this so that you can reach the final test. Going up against the Blademaster himself.
It’s tiny but a brilliant experience, that portrays loyalty and brotherhood.
