Aesthetics:
Creep, scary ooky spooky and commanding of your attention!. It’s Oogie Boogie but like you aren’t used to seeing him. Instead of a big scary burlap sack creature, he is a big scary worm and bug-covered pile of gloop.
The details are amazing on this figurine and the colours really make Oogie Boogie pop. He doesn’t have many distinguishing features as he is a stylized Funko but the details he does have are awesome.
He has black sunken in eyes and mouth and is covered in creepy wriggly worms, making him a super fun addition to have in your collection.
Even though he has no actual eyes he does seem to glare at you mockingly and menacingly. True to his movie character persona he commands respect and admiration.
Functionality:
This funko figurine has no stand but has no need of one as he is fat and round and stands very stable on most surfaces.
His head does turn all the way around making for more freedom when choosing how to pose him and where to place him. That is assuming that you have decided to remove him from his box and display him openly.
Alternatively, you can keep him mint in box as they have made his box a piece of art in its own right.
He really is very cute is made from durable vinyl that means he will be your companion as long as you look after him.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
This really is a great little Funko figurine and is a wonder to behold. He is stable and stands on his own and his personality seems to shine through his little pudgy body.
This Funko is a must-have if you collect alternative Funko’s, or The Nightmare Before Christmas memorabilia, or just want a really great Funko. He really is worth it.
