Replayability:
Daybreak is all about playing it, again and again, solo or with your friends. Daybreak pits you and three other soldiers against waves of Zombies. The goal is to survive and keep the Technician alive while he completes his work.
Daybreak is divided into seven waves, surviving all seven waves will reward you with unlockables that you can use in State of Decay 2 campaign mode. These rewards can also be used as starting weapons on your next run of daybreak.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Daybreak is fun if you play with friends. Survive and battle together. Help one another as things get tougher and tougher. The rewards are great and the gameplay is rather fun. However, given the nature of the game and its confinements, it gets rather repetitive very fast. Completing daybreak also earns you Prestige which is a very sought after currency for your campaign mode.
It is still more than worth a playthrough or five with some mates for sure. You are bound to have tons of fun before the boredom kicks in, plus the weapons you unlock for the campaign mode along with the building options for your base is rather great and very welcome additions.
