Aesthetics:
True to his character In Gears Of War, this Boomer Funko Pop is large, brutish, not very intelligent, and carrying a huge Boomshot weapon.
Menacing is the first word that comes to mind when you see Boomer. His yellow eyes and terrifying scowl is the stuff of nightmares.
I always mention the attention to detail in my reviews and this figure is no exception. They did an amazing job here, from his skin to his weapon and even his sharp black fingernails.
He really is intimidating in the Cute Funko Pop way of course.
Functionality:
Simply remove him from his packaging or keep him mint in box if that is your style, but be sure to place him where he can be seen.
His head does rotate 360 degrees so he can be placed in almost any position and will still be precariously watching you.
This particular Funko Pop figurine didn’t come with the round transparent stand that they usually do, but he does stand on his own and is very sturdy because of his size and design.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
One awesome Funko Pop to have and definitely a must-have for your collection, be it a gaming collection, figurine collection, Gears Of War specifically, or just a Funko Pop collection.
Boomer is sturdy, durable and with proper care will be with you for the long haul. The materials they used for his construction are of the highest quality as is expected from Funko and the vinyl won’t easily be scratched or wear.
Boomer also comes with a bonus digital game code which is a nice little add-on, especially if you are a fan of the Gears Of War franchise in any capacity and happen to own the game.
