Grab those backpacks survivors, How to survive just got bigger and better….

Some key points that this game add on has to offer:
- New story line in Campaign mode.
- New weather effects.
- New Zombie types that are eager to eat your flesh.
- Three new Islands to explore.
Replayability:
This campaign story is playable within the main story line; it is like an extra quest line. When you’re finished How to Survives original quest line you got an ending video. Afterwards you could continue playing the game exploring unexplored areas and finishing the monkey side quests, or just picking up all the goodies you never had space for. With this expansion it is pretty much the same you can follow the quest line to completion, get the ending video and continue exploring the game.
It offers the same amount of awesome as we got the first time around with the original and what’s more is that since then a few other DLC’s made it to the surface such as a Nina the new playable character and Kovac’s way. This is the new difficulty that teaches you a whole new level of patience as it tests your limits.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
How to Survive El Diablo Islands – Host can be accessed by traveling in the boat at the shooting range on Kovac’s Island. Do note however that going there straight away with a new character might prove to be hard. As I mentioned there are some new enemies here, of which one has a fireproof suit that packs a powerful melee punch and the other that is electrified so any melee damage will get you shocked. So proper preparations are required to lessen the struggle.
To help with these struggles some new goodies have been added to the game such as the Electric gun types that is sure to give you a joy whilst you’re cooking up some Zombie barbeque… A few other items such as an armour piece can also be crafted but I won’t spoil the surprise there just yet.
Playing this new story mode on the Kovac’s Way difficulty will not only award you some newly added achievements but it will surely test your mettle. The story line for this new mode has you saving some scientists and then running some errands for them. You will run these said errands on three new Islands and not just any Islands, but Volcanic Islands that don’t just have Zombies craving for your flesh, but there are other obstacles as well such as flowing lava.
Much like the original story line, the new one isn’t that long but it surely is joyous and so much fun, whether you are going at it solo or with a mate; you are in for one heck of a time. Along with this new story line comes several new Monkey quests as well for you to partake in.
All in all, quite a decent add on at a very good price.
