Aesthetics:
Compatible with the Razer Synapse software you can fully customize your RGB experience by making full use of the Synapse software. These include syncing the lighting and effects to your games or custom colours.

Comfort:
These were made to be wearable for long periods of time. The foam cushions are firm but soft, and they are also covered in leatherette. To further top them, the cushions feature memory foam.
This goes without saying that these cushions will keep you coming back, and every single time the experience will be comfortable and without any issues whatsoever.
The ear cups fit your ear perfectly covering every inch and enveloping them in comfort and sound.
The headband itself also got special treatment. The notches are numbered which means you can easily adjust them evenly to ensure they offer you the most comfortable experience.
The comfort on the headband was made to be super soft and comfortable and you won’t even notice they are there after a while. The headband won’t dig into your head as others do.
Durability:
As always Razer makes use of high-quality materials when designing and putting their products together.
The V3 is no different. The memory foam cushions appear to be high quality, with very little concern that the cushions will fail you. The leatherette that covers the cushions are also made of high-quality materials.
On the earcups themselves, the material used is leatherette for the most part but on the section that actually makes contact with your ear they used a soft cotton-like material.

The headband itself is very durable with little chance that it will wear out. The headband is made of a breathable honeycomb material that allows for less perspiration and increased comfort.
The cable on the headset is braided, which is the stronger of the cable kinds and ensures that the wire does not tangle and lasts longer.
User Friendly & Functionality:
It’s pretty much plug-and-play. It comes with a 2m USB – A cable that you can connect to your pc or console.
To adjust the volume on the headset you can make use of the volume control wheel that’s built-in on the left side of the headset. It has a mute button just above the volume control wheel which makes it easy to mute your mic when needed.
The HyperSense also makes use of the Razer Synapse software giving you further options to customize your headset.

If you’re on Windows then this headset will blow you away. It was primarily designed to run on windows. Using Windows software you can fully utilize the potential of the V3 Hypersense.
By far the best selling point of these is, the Hypersense that has been built into both ear cups, which offers haptic feedback by utilizing the bass frequency.
Now, this is a neat feature for sure, it’s something that depends on the level of gameplay and adds to the realism and immersion of our games. However, at the current stage, it is lacking quite a bit. Using it on lower settings adds a subtle addition to lower frequencies. However, the issue comes in with higher intensity usage. Here it feels like it’s clashing badly with everything else.
The result here, instead of adding to the experience will distract you from it. It can get highly vibrating, and on the highest setting, the vibrations can get a little too strong.
Something Razer actually went and added to this is giving us the option to adjust the HyperSense is definitely an improvement over previous versions of this one. At the push of a button we can easily adjust the settings in low, medium, and high intensities, or turn it off entirely.
The headset was designed for gameplay and gameplay only. Making use of it for listening to music would be an utter waste of time. It has not been optimized or made for this purpose. Your experience here will be thoroughly tarnished.
As I mentioned this headset was designed for gamers to be used for gaming. This is where it excels at. It’s comfortable to wear for hours. Whether you’re making use of the haptic feature or not, this is an awesome headset to use.
The V3 struggles to block out some of the lower frequencies however it does a decent job with higher frequencies. I admit that I am thoroughly impressed with the 50mm drivers that the V3 offers. The highs and mediums are just right and the bass is present but not overbearing at all.
Overall an amazing headset with many features you won’t find on other headsets, we highly recommend this headset if it is in your budget because the sound and comfort alone will blow you away not to mention all the other features.
