Season Pass:
As per usual, we only complete and publish a Season Pass Review once the last content has been released. This way we ensure that our Review is accurate and contains all the relevant information.
Rise of the Tomb Raider blew us away, it seemed kind of hard to beat what happened with the 2013 reboot. Not only did they trump it, they trumped it big time. The sequel is totally badass! Lara is back and she is deadlier than ever.
The season pass expanded our experience greatly. It offered us an arsenal of new weapons to make use of. There is a wardrobe full of outfits that not only makes Lara stylish, they all offer a unique passive bonus. Then there are the new expedition modes that you get to enjoy. Accompanying them is a brand new insane difficulty setting for the Singleplayer campaign and a new mission that can be played in the Singleplayer campaign as well.
Truly a great investment.

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
The Season Pass was a great investment when it was first released, it gave us access to some pretty amazing content that enhanced and expanded our experience. Exploring Croft Manor in its decayed and dilapidated state was a surprising but memorable experience nonetheless.
Defending it whilst tracking down the source of evil gave you a whole new meaning to survival, but the journey was pleasant still. Endurance mode was the real star here. Whether you went alone or with a friend. Pitting your survival skills against, man, nature and beast… The ultimate test of your wits and skill! Not only to survive but to make it out alive as well.
The additional goodies we received just sweetened the pot that much more. This was a great buy for sure.
Do note:
With the 20 Year Celebration, it is much better to buy the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Edition. Buying this version includes the base game, the season pass contents and everything else as well.
