Adventures leading to new worlds are the best kinds…
Some key points that this game offers:
- Stunning art designs.
- Beautifully created landscapes and scenes.
- A Story that has you glued down patiently wanting more and more.
- Excellent soundtrack.
Gameplay & Controls:
A story that easy and fun to read and experience, you can’t help but just relax and enjoy it as it unfolds before your very eyes…. You hit that Auto play button as you joyfully sit back and experience the story as it unfolds before you.
The game has various control options such as the Left Mouse button being used to manually move on to the next scene, or to activate auto/ skip functions. Right Mouse button opens up the menu and then the mouse wheel can be clicked to hide the UI, or scrolled up and down to move backwards to previous scenes.
Graphics:
A beautifully created setting with numerous scenes and landscapes all masterfully crafted to maximize how you will enjoy feasting your eyes on them. Each scene is like a piece of art, carefully created with just enough attention to detail to make it absolutely visually appealing and in some cases even life like…
Truly a master artist behind these works. On the setting side of things, we can choose Fullscreen or Window Mode.
Sounds:
The music for the game was chosen well, it really sets not only the mood for the game, but really the tone for playing it, enhancing the overall quality of the game and adding to the life like effect that the game gives off. The music shifts constantly as you move from scene to scene, whether it’s calm and tranquillity or a dramatic setting, the music is there to add that little sumthing sumthing to give it more impact.
The background sounds are also a nice feature to experience such as the animated sounds for clashing swords, it really adds to the overall quality of the Visual Novel. On the setting side of things, we can set the Music and Volume controls to our specific wants.
Replayability:
The game doesn’t really have that many choices you usually have in a visual novel, besides for obtaining more Gallery Pictures the game doesn’t really offer any reason for replaying it, there is no extra or different ending.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Spoilers Ahead:
Sakura Spirit is a fun and entertaining story to experience; it’s full of mystery, magic, mayhem and humour, all coming together with so much more too really deliver a fun experience.
You experience the story through the eyes of Gushiken Takashiro, a rising Judo Star martial artist who is days away from a tournament that can make or break his career. With such a big event upcoming he feels quite nervous and upon hearing about a hidden Shrine in the forest that helped someone else with good fortune he decides to visit said Shrine and pay his respects in hopes of obtaining a little luck for himself…
Upon making said wish Takashiro got more than what he bargained for as he wakes up in a completely different world.
The story only gets better from there on, you meet several characters in this new world all with personalities and attitudes of their own. Everything falls into place quite perfectly, as I mentioned the story reads very well and is very enjoyable.
