Upgrade:
If you already own the base game, or some of the DLC’s, then buying the Upgrade to Omnissiah Edition is the best value for money to acquire the extras that you do not already own.
The content included in the Omnissiah Edition does not really add much content to the base game. It does however add a Melee weapon that can be equipped by your Tech Priests.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus – Upgrade to Omnissiah Edition may not add major extras to the base game, however for the low price that it sells at it does grant you full access to that amazing soundtrack we enjoy while we are busy purging the foul Necrons.
Enjoy an E-Short Story that adds to the Warhammer 40,000 lore, something that every Warhammer 40,000 fan loves; the lore is already so vast but there is so much space for much more!!!
The new melee weapon is a force on its own, make use of it to destroy the enemies of the Imperium.
Last but not least enjoy the full art of Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, in minute detail, and at your own leisure.
All in all, a wonderful add on to an amazing game.
