Halo Infinite March Update Brings Weapon Tweaks And Networking Overhaul

343 Industries Unveils Changes Coming to Halo Infinite in Latest Update

343 Industries has revealed the upcoming changes coming to Halo Infinite in the March update, which focuses on fine-tuning weapons and improving the game’s network function.

Since its launch in 2021, Halo Infinite has received continuous updates, particularly in its multiplayer aspect. Moving away from seasonal formats, the game now introduces “Operations,” shorter-lived events with fresh content. Following the Cyber Showdown Operation, 343 shares more details on the March update.

Weapons currently available in Halo Infinite.

Outlined in a recent blog post on the Halo website, 343 plans to make adjustments to several weapons in Halo Infinite. The M392 Bandit, Heatwave, Plasma Pistol, Stalker Rifle, and VK78 Commando will undergo minor tweaks. Additionally, the Gravity Hammer will receive a significant nerf, halving its power, and addressing a prior bug that unintentionally doubled its attack strength.

Addressing player feedback on online infrastructure errors, 343 announces a comprehensive overhaul of the networking model. This revamp aims to mitigate the issues that have affected Halo Infinite’s online experience, assuring players of a smoother gameplay experience.

The March update is scheduled to roll out on Tuesday, March 19, with 343 expected to release detailed patch notes outlining all changes and improvements made to Halo Infinite.
