Before the shows premiere the games’ fans were skeptical about The Witcher Netflix Series.
A lot of people thought the actor portraying Geralt, Henry Cavil was too pretty to give this part justice. We were also skeptical of the show’s director, Lauren Hissrich for some of her choices during production. Yet two months later the show is so in demand and streamed all over the world that it has bolstered the sales of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (https://bit.ly/39HqZsq) and of course the books by Andrzej Sapkowski.

The show is still the most in-demand television series across all platforms around the world. It’s managed to hold that position for the last 30 days, from January 14 to February 12, after beating out The Mandalorian for the number 1 spot over seven weeks ago. The Witcher’s success is measured through “demand expressions “This widely accepted measurement takes into account the viewership, desire, and engagement of a show weighted by importance.
Majority of the Witcher’s success is accredited to its fantasy-based setting and also because it already comes from a well-established franchised.
If all goes according to plan, we can look forward to seven seasons of this enchanting adventure with season 2 already in production and is currently scheduled to premiere in 2021.
Let’s be hopeful that our expectations are met as this is a very long waiting period.
