After the news of all the games that will be delisted in September by Ubisoft, they have confirmed that only the Online features and DLC of the games will be affected.
Yesterday we reported on the fact that Ubisoft will be decommissioning a rather lengthy list of games from the 1st of September this year. Ubisoft has now confirmed that only the DLC and Online features will be removed from each game being delisted.
Ubisoft said in a statement to GamesRadar:
“We don’t take the decision to retire services for older Ubisoft games lightly, and our teams are currently assessing all available options for players who will be impacted when these games’ online services are decommissioned on September 1st, 2022.
We are also working with our partners to update this information across all storefronts, so players will be fully informed about the removal of online services at the point of purchase as well as via our support article where we shared the news.
Only DLCs and online features will be affected by the upcoming decommissioning. Current owners of those games will still be able to access, play or redownload them.

So it seems that Ubisoft is determined to reassure fans and owners of the affected games as many people were up in arms about this news, worried they wouldn’t be able to play previously downloaded games on the list.
Rest assured that we will keep a close watch on how this story plays out and will keep you up to date with any further developments.
