According to reports, it will be released early next year
Skull and Bones will be released on February 16, 2024, according to Ubisoft’s live announcement at The Game Awards.
No, I’m not sure if you read that correctly, I’m not referring to E3 in 2017, when the action-adventure pirate game was first announced, only to be delayed to 2019, then 2020, and finally the End Times. I’m referring to the 2023 Game Awards, where Ubisoft debuted a new trailer informing players that they could “conquer oceans together” and “defy legendary pirate myths” by launching a series of rockets off a hunk of 1700s-looking wood, as shown in an accompanying montage.
I’m referring to the 2023 Geoff Keighley Game Awards, where Ubisoft stated that Skull and Bones could be available as early as February 13 if you pre-order the premium edition. What? You’re hesitant to pre-order a game that was pushed back to November 8, 2022, and then to March 9, 2023 after CEO Yves Guillemot said it needed to be “a much more polished and balanced experience”?
Skull and Bones isn’t always punctual. It clearly did not meet its March 9 deadline, which is why we’re now aiming for February 13 at the very least. But consider this: Skull and Bones is eager to meet you just in time for Valentine’s Day!
