Roger Clark, a Red Dead Redemption 2 actor, has suggested that the ‘GTA 6 Joker’ “use the notoriety” rather than seeking money from Rockstar.

Following the release of the GTA 6 trailer, the Florida Joker, real name Lawrence Sullivan, took to social media to demand $2 million from Rockstar after claiming that the developer used his likeness for an in-game character. Now, Red Dead Redemption 2 voice actor Roger Clark, who plays Arthur Morgan, has responded to the individual’s lofty demands.

“GTA, we gotta talk,” says the Florida Joker in his video, to which Clark responds in his own TikTok video: “No, you don’t; you don’t need to talk to them.” They’re not going to talk to you.” “They’ve had people like you trying to sue them for decades,” he adds. They are lawyered up, man. They know exactly what they can and cannot get away with.”

Clark concludes his message with some advice for Sullivan, advising him to take advantage of the situation. “If I were you, I would use the notoriety they just threw your way to my advantage and capitalize on it somehow. You ain’t getting a job at Home Depot with that face.”

Rockstar was in a similar situation after the release of GTA 5. Actress Lindsey Lohan attempted to sue the developer, claiming it had used her likeness. A New York Court dismissed the case after ruling that the character in question was simply a “generic young woman.” It is unclear whether Sullivan will file a lawsuit against Rockstar.

Clark recently gave fans hope for more Wild West action, saying he is “certain we will see RDR3 one day.” But the message was bittersweet, as he added that we’re unlikely to see his character again. “Don’t count on Arthur’s involvement,” he said. “His story has been told, I feel.”
