Instant Audio upgrade

Aesthetics:

Headset stands may have started out as simple stands to store your headset on. That hasn’t been the case for a while note. RGB started accompanying them alongside additional USB ports.

Since then the designers behind these have constantly been working on upping their headset stand designs. Flashier shapes and sizes and so forth.

The Throne range is no different, it boasts RGB and additional USB ports alongside even fancier features.

A truly breath-taking headset stand

Not only does the base of the headset stand have an RGB strip but so does the length of the stand too. From the base of the stand going up, it is supported by a durable frame that has perspex in its middle. The perspex lights up with additional RGB strips that have been fitted to it offering you an even greater lightning sequence for your headset.

The shape and design of the stand are rather unique but in all the right ways. If you are an ASUS fan this is a definite must-add to the system piece for you.

Hold Tight

Durability:

Not only does the base come with a non-slip additional to ensure it does t go anywhere. The top itself also has the feature to ensure that whilst your headset is resting it won’t go anywhere either.

This I found to be quite effective. Headset stands are made according to a factory size from what I’ve seen. However, there are quite a few shapes and sizes of headsets out there and more than often does the headset stand does not properly support the headset. So this is a decent addition.

USB Ports

User Friendly & Functionality:

As far as fancy features go it is still merely a matter of plug-and-play. The RGB can easily be adjusted using your RGB manager or armoury crate software.

This QI comes with two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a 3.5mm headphone port. Now, this is hardly anything new. A lot of headset stands these days come with these additional ports.

What makes the QI so unique? It instantly upgrades audio devices plugged into these ports to 7.1 Surround sound. It does this via the build in DAC (Digital to Analogue converter).

RGB all the things

Now that’s what makes it so unique. Adding to the sound upgrade. And Amplifier, which uses Hyper Grounding and audio signal diversion technology to make the audio more detailed and immersive.

Further adding to its unique additions. It also offers a wireless QI charging base. That’s right if your devices are wireless charging friendly this nifty little headset stand can charge them while you are busy gaming.

This right here sets the Qi Throne apart from almost all other headset stands.

Game-Changing Connectivity

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:

A pricey addition for sure, however, you get more than what you pay for here. I’ve personally used Razer’s V2 Chroma base station and when comparing the two I’d go for the QI over the V2 any day.

Coming in at almost the same price, with the QI slightly more expensive. However, the QI not only offers more features than the V2, but it also looks a lot better. I found the V2’s design very plain looking. The QI on the other hand look is much more appealing.

The built-in DAC and amplifier is another win for sure. Sound plays a vital role whether listening to music or playing games. Not everyone can afford a full surround sound system and having a device that upgrades and enhances your audio output to this extent is always a plus.
