Aesthetics:
Now, this is an absolute beauty. Accompanied by two swappable acrylic plates that allows you to customize the visuals on the mount. Featuring Aura Synch will allow you to customize the lighting effect to your exact needs.
The mount itself doesn’t look bad either, strong and sturdy at a quick glance, but gorgeous nonetheless.
Durability:
The frame itself was made with an aluminium alloy. So, you can rest assured that this mount will not fail you or your card.
Once installed it sits Rock solid in your system.
User Friendly & Functionality:
It installs into an unoccupied PCIe slot of ATX-size chassis.
Installation is rather easy. It does require a screwdriver to screw the mount onto your chassis, but that’s it.
Once that has been done it is easy to find that sweet spot for your GPU. Once found it reduces the sag of your GPU entirely. As for the lighting effects. Those are easily adjusted via the armoury crate software.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Personally, I found the Herculx to be the better GPU mount of the two. It offers support to a much greater variety of GPUs than what the Wingwall does.
However, the Wingwall does offer easier space occupancy than the Herculx. If you have fans at the bottom of your system then the Wingwall will be the better option than the Herculx.
It’s not a bad product at all. It does the job rather well, it is just limited and does not support the same variety of GPUs as the Herculx, and given its price, that’s where we found an issue.
I mean these mounts aren’t exactly budget-friendly and if you spend this much on a mount then that GPU of yours is probably a Monster. Having a proper mount to support it is vital.
So before purchasing do some research first to see if it will actually properly support the GPU you have. Unless spacing in your system is an issue for the Herculx.
