Borderlands 2 – Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty is the first DLC released by Gearbox Software and Triptych Games. To access this content you travel to Oasis from the fast travel network and upon arrival you are given an introductionary video were Captain Scarlet invites you to join her in her search for Captain Blake’s lost treasure of the sands, but be ye warned, a pirate will do anything for treasure, including stabbing ye in the backside….
Rumour has it that there be a terrible and monstrous beast that lies in wait for any treasure seeker, but ye be the special kind of seeker, a vault hunter first with numerous monstrous beasties already ticked off ye list, so go ye right ahead and bag ye-self a Leviathan if ye can: So off ye be on a new and exciting swashbuckling adventure. But be warned me matey on this adventure there lies in wait many a quest that will need pirating before ye be closest to said treasure, and many a foe that will seek to have ye walking the plank.
Ye foe be many far and wide spread, from the dry ocean bed itself sand worms are always lying in wait for any wandering pirate to have as its lunch… Then there be the pirates themselves that can’t have other pirates be looking for their treasure, and that be not all me matey; These lands have their very own Crystalisks waiting for ye, then there be skags and some sand pirates! Don’t forget them stalkers and their invisibility, them be here too. Dem metal machines also called loaders have been known to try and kill a pirate too in these here lands, and another foe ye need worrying about are dem spider ants, always lying in wait…
These vast lands ye be exploring, starts at Oasis, once a beautiful lakeside town, but since then all dem water has gone. Now all that is left are dried up water beds, perfect for ye sandskiff. On ye journey, ye will be amazed by the sure beauty of these far-off lands, dried up coral, beasty remains, pirate dens, all dem beauty making these said lands something to admire, something to behold, one can almost say that these here places are all treasures to keep. Ye will meet many a people, some mad, some crazy and some even insane… no no Tannis did not join us on this journey, no need to fret.
Ye be in for one jolly ol good time, now off with ye, dem treasures won’t be finding demselves now will they.
