Some key points that this game add on has to offer:

  1. Gaige the Mechromancer joins the Vault Hunters as the fifth playable character.
  2. Deathtrap; Gaige’s science project, a totally badass robot.
  3. A unique skill tree set that offers a fresh and more anarchic method of bandit and monster control… or extermination, whatever sets your mood.
Intro
Introducing Gaige the Mechomancer…

Replayability:

This content adds a new character to the list of Vault Hunters that you get to choose from.

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:

Gaige is a runaway; she was your typical high school genius from the Planet Eden-5, with one goal, to win the science fair, and when the schools resident brat’s daddy decided to bribe the school judge ensuring her first place; which set the scene for what was to follow. Words were spoken, Gaige got shoved, DT got involved, someone got exploded, followed by a diversion, then an off world transport ship which brought Gaige to our doorstep right here on Pandora… Her dream of first place science fair winner ruined by a lying and thieving brat… but on the bright side, now we have a new character to play as.

Action
Deathtrap in action!

Gaige has her own unique wardrobe set of heads and skins so that you can dress her in a number of fashionable killing styles…

Gaige’s action skill is DeathTrap her overly upgraded anti bully robot!

Gaige has three skill trees just like the original Vault Hunters, but they come with new and exciting twists.

Anarchy
A whole lot of fun…

Best Friends Forever: This is Gaige’s first skill tree and it focuses all on survival and aiming… two very important traits for any Vault Hunter! One very notable skill to note here is Close Enough; it allows your bullets that hit the walls or any other objects to have a percentage chance to ricochet towards nearby enemies, for reduced damage of course, but this skill used in combination with some Anarchy will devastate your foes.

Little Big Trouble: This is the second skill tree and it has a few functions such as elemental effects and damage, this skill tree also favours shock damage, so be prepared for some sparks. Skills in this tree also add or can add and offer Deathtrap some elemental powers such as heat-beams to its attacks. Later on, you can unlock the ability that allows Deathtrap to mimic any elemental type of any weapon that Gaige shoots him with.

Deathtrap
A lifetime friendship!

Ordered Chaos: It’s all about Anarchy here; it increases your damage by insane amounts at the cost of accuracy, good thing you can get the ability that allows your bullets to ricochet… The most notable skill here is Anarchy, killing an enemy or emptying your guns magazine while in combat grants a stack of Anarchy. Now within this tree there are a few other skills which benefits and improves your Anarchy stacks, such as Typecast Iconoclast which gives you a chance to obtain an extra stack whenever receiving a stack, the more stacks you have the higher your damage goes but the worse your accuracy gets, now investing into The Nth Degree skill makes every bullet that hit an enemy ricochet towards another nearby enemy, which makes for swift execution options if timed properly. At first it may seem like the Ordered Chaos Skill tree is too much hassle and it sure is, it is a difficult skill tree to master but once you do it really goes OP from there, especially if you invested in making our Deathtrap just as lethal as you can be.
