The one that got away; I have owned and enjoyed several of Redragon’s products over the years all of which was brilliant and a pure joy to game on. However, the Harrow falls pretty short here unfortunately.

Aesthetics:
At first glance, the controller looks quite beautiful, but when you inspect it closer the draw backs show themselves. The controller resembles that of the Xbox 360 controller which is very appealing, personally, I love the design, layout, and feel of the Xbox controllers, that was a step in the right direction for me.
Yet the Harrow did not measure up, the look of the controller itself is fairly pleasing, but it has that cheap plastic look that you just can’t unsee.
Comfort:
It is very light, and it doesn’t feel right when you hold it. When you hold a controller, it needs to fit with your hands, or at least your hands need to take it all in to allow for a comfortable experience, and the Harrow just does not have it. They took the visual looks from Xbox which set a high standard for what the controller should be like but as I mentioned it just doesn’t meet those standards.
Using it has the same low appeal, the buttons all feel chunky and quite loud to use, there is none of that smooth or swift experience here; the keys have to be pressed hard to ensure they are pressed, pressing them gives a sound that seems like they were pressed a lot harder than they actually were which does not bode well either.
The D-pad sits in a very uncomfortable area which makes it completely unflattering to use and some games require you to use it and that dulls the joy completely, Using the left joystick for movement and then having to stop to switch weapons or allow for item selection is just not right.
Durability:
I’m quite sure they are made to last fairly long, however from personal experience I obtained one of these and when I started using it, I had the terrible experience as I have been mentioning.
I figured it will get better with time, day one went by and by day two the battery died, so I decided to charge it, there is no battery meter which makes it kind of awkward to determine how full the battery is, anyway after some googling I figured 80 minutes should do the trick. Unfortunately, after the charging session there was power again but the controller would not reconnect to the PC no matter what.
It was later exchanged but for a different controller brand, this was my experience with the Harrow. Do note I did go as far as to speak with some other Harrow users, who had theirs for several months with no issues whatsoever, so this was just a factory issue which was resolved without any problems for me.
So, take this into consideration.
User Friendly & Functionality:
The controller comes with an instruction manual and an installation disc. Once the software has been installed you can plug the Nano USB Receiver and connect your controller. If your PC has built in controller software like the Microsoft variant with the Xbox One controller it will synch with that. Other than the controller is fairly easy to use.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
I personally do not think that this controller is worth the money it costs, there are just too many flaws here to justify it, besides for my bad experience, the controller just does not meet the requirements for high-quality gaming.
There are other brands that can be bought at slightly higher prices that will surpass the quality and experience that the Harrow offers.
