Aesthetics:
She is a beauty, her lights and design were well thought out and she is as striking as she is beautiful. The RGB lights that she comes with are distinctive and alluring. ReDragon even added a strip of lights on the underside of the keyboard, which gives her that “ Alienesque” feel.
This keyboard is an innovation adding so many features that a lot of keyboards don’t have. Let’s talk about the RGB, shall we? There are many different RGB possibilities for the many lights strewn around this keyboard, and it’s a lot of fun to experiment with them to find the perfect ones in your favourite colors.
Having said that, the keyboard does not have a gaudy appearance; rather, it has a classic and professional air about it, which is enhanced by the amazing lighting effects. It is sleek and dynamic looking and sports the traditional silver dragon emblem right where you can see it.
Comfort:
As for comfort ReDragon really spent a lot of time thinking this aspect through and even added a magnetic wrist wrest which can be attached or detached as needed. The keyboard has a good weight to it which adds an aspect of comfort to it as she won’t be moving around as you furiously type that “strongly worded e-mail” or are in engaged in a boss fight of epic proportions.
When typing, the keys push back quite a bit and are also very “clicky” which some people love and others don’t enjoy as much. This keyboard utilizes the “Blue” tactile switches which are known as the most “clicky” keys on the market currently so either this will appeal to you or not. As far as mechanical keyboards go the keys are not as high set as a lot of keyboards giving them a lower profile than many Mechanical keyboards out there.
This adds to the comfort of typing if you are utilizing this keyboard for typing work. Because of the loud sound of the keys though this keyboard isn’t the best to use in a busy office with many people around who will get quickly annoyed with the sounds of clicking and clacking that emanate from each keystroke. If you are new to Mechanical keyboards this one’s layout will take some getting used to which could add to some discomfort when first using her.
Durability:
The bottom line is that this keyboard is a gamer’s dream and even just looking at it you will realize that ReDragon meant business when creating this masterpiece. ReDragon used Optical switches on this keyboard which are much hardier than traditional keys.
The quality of this keyboard is outstanding, and the frame has very little flex. For added durability, the USB cable is braided with a Gold plated connector, which also contributes to the elegance of this beauty. This keyboard will be with you for a long time if you take care of it and will take quite the beating when you need it to. This keyboard was built for longevity and she will be there for you when you need her.
User Friendly & Functionality:
The installation software is not included with the keyboard, however, it is simple to download and use. The keyboard will remember all of your macros in settings so that they are preserved when you plug it into another computer.
This keyboard’s layout has a few programmable keys on the left side which can get in the way at first until you get the hang of avoiding them to type. The keyboard is scattered with many different programmable keys and getting used to these might take some time but once you get the hang of them these keys can come in very handy for many applications.
Some of these applications include Streaming, gaming tournaments switching from one application to the next, etc. Another useful feature is the volume roller on the top right-hand side, which can be used to manage the volume of whatever you’re working on at the time, such as YouTube, Facebook, games, and so on.

This keyboard is not for you if you don’t like loud tactile switches, but if you appreciate the sound and having your own customized keys, the Brahma Pro will be a dream to work on.
