There will be a lot more gameplay elements coming your way

On December 5, Cyberpunk 2077 will receive a free update with new gameplay elements. During the most recent REDstreams on Twitch, CD Projekt Red announced that Update 2.1 will include a fully functional metro, radioport, replayable car races, boss fight improvements, accessibility features, and more.

The city-wide fully functional NCART metro system in Update 2.1 will offer a “relaxed way” of transportation, according to the game’s producer Monika Janowska and quest director Pawe Sasko.

Another new feature is Radioport, which allows you to enjoy the eclectic musical vibes of the game’s radio stations outside of the confines of your vehicle. This means that you can now, for example, listen to the radio while walking through the City Center.

There will be new hangouts with romantic partners, and you will have the opportunity to spend quality time together in V’s apartment.

More chases and replayable car races are also new features. Previously, the latter was only available as a limited number of missions, but it can now be replayed to earn additional rewards and discounts on the Autofixer website.

Additionally, the update improves boss fights, including the late-game Adam Smasher fight. Smasher’s AI has been improved, and he now carries a Sandevistan, as seen in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

The Porsche 911 Cabriolet, new motorcycles, upgraded motorcycle handling and new riding mechanics, new secrets to discover, and more will be included in the new update, as well as technical improvements and accessibility features as a larger interface font and the ability to turn off the timer in the Breach Protocol minigame.

All current and future owners of the game will be able to download Update 2.1, including those who purchase the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, which includes both the base game and the Phantom Liberty expansion.
